The following newspaper article appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald “Spike” column on Friday January 24th 2003. Since then, a larger than average interest has been created in the northern beach headland – attracting vast numbers of tourists.
An image – said to represent the Virgin Mary- appears to be created by the sun casting shadows on a section of the white paling fence situated on the headland.
